B. P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology
B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology (BPPIMT) is a private college in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Founded in 1999 as B.P Poddar Foundation for Education,〔(B.P.Poddar )〕 it is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
The college is located near Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at a distance of 2 km and was built as a tribute to the memory of Shri B.P. Poddar (the founder of the Poddar Group).
It has a second campus in Sector V, Salt Lake which offer degrees in management (BBA and BCA).〔http://www.bppimt.com/〕

The B.P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology was initially affiliated to the University of Kalyani (in the year 1999) and later on in the year 2001 as per the instruction of Govt. of West Bengal, the Institute was affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. The courses offered are structured according to prevailing international standards.
